Flying in a wheelchair – Sue Austin

This post is about Sue Austin, a woman in a wheelchair living a fantastic life and experiencing an exceptional dream… diving in the deep ocean in a wheelchair!

I would like to reproduce the article and videos I found about this wonderful woman: again the focus on beautiful inside in its complete meaning on being aware of yourself and making your dreams come true.

” Sue Austin has created the world’s first self-propelled wheelchair, equipped with clear fins that allow her to fly underwater.

She is working to redefine the popular notion of disability with an invention that challenges preconceptions about the wheelchair. Not just the way it is viewed but also the way that it’s used.

Sue says “I call my wheelchair ‘portal’, because it’s pushed me through into a new level of awareness. For me it’s about finding creative solutions to barriers. I’ve become a completely different person.”

Sue Austin demonstrates me how to be the artist & transformer of my own life! Disability as a great chance and a “portal” to being aware ! I hope to be on the way, as since some weeks I struggled a lot with myself due to many disharmonic situations in my life.

I don’t know how many times I watched this video… I cried for joy!!
